The
NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics (NMCRL) is a database
of codification information available on CD-ROM or DVD.
The NMCRL is an extract of the codification database maintained by NAMSA. Most of the information in the latter is provided by the National Codification Bureaux of the NATO nations. It contains over 16 million NATO stock numbers (NSNs), 31 million part numbers, over 1 million manufacturer codes and 23 million user registrations.
The NMCRL is available to all NATO and non-NATO government organizations on an annual subscription basis. It is issued every two months, to reflect the daily changes to the NAMSA central database. There are currently over 1,600 subscribers worldwide.
