The NATO Depot & Support System (NDSS) is a fully integrated software package, designed, developed and maintained by NAMSA. It covers most areas of logistics support, such as item identification, supply, maintenance and property accounting.

The NDSS operates in a client-server architecture and its scalability allows it to be installed in a stand-alone workstation or in a local area network (LAN).

NAMSA assists in the installation of the package, if required, including the procurement of the necessary hardware. NAMSA also provides user and operator training and the services of a dedicated help desk.

Currently there are 38 installations of the system in 24 different geographical locations: all NATO Communications and Information Systems (CIS) depots and most NATO HQ Support Commands and Forward Support Points.

The system can be enhanced with the installation of an interface to the NATO Automated Financial System (NAFS). This interface has already been arranged for 14 customers and additional installations are in the pipeline.
